Weekend begins with 2 back to back movies... "Akaash Vani" & "Thanks Maa"....
Sometimes U need to create 'Multiplex' @ Ur home itself without hoping anybody's company to watch something which U eagerly waited for.
After "Pyar Ka Punchnama", Luv Ranjan with his Spicy N Comic touch presents a different Love Story.
Kartik and Nushrat carry forward their perfect chemistry in Akaash Vani.
The movie speaks about 'Inter-caste Marriage' as well as about Arrange Marriage. Sometimes kids sacrifice their love for the love towards their parents as all the current generation is not filled entirely with brats.
Meanwhile after an Arranged marriage, Parents enjoy their triumph while moving in the 'White- collar Society'.
Later they 'may' realize that their decision was wrong and that they played with the life of their kids by worshipping their orthodox thinking and age-old wrongly followed so-called culture.
Their kids also realize that life is not meant for only 'Adjustments & Sufferings' and to live it suffocatingly for ourselves and for others. Life is not meant for losing the best gift called 'Love' when it is right in front of us but sacrificing it for the fear of Dabba society.
The same orthodox thinking for which many social-reformers laid down their entire life to abolish them from the society. They succeeded in their era but they never knew that it was a mere temporary change. Once they bid farewell to this World....they never knew that we humans one day will again bring back all those ill-practices in the society and publically insult those efforts of people who meant a beautiful 'Humanly' World for today's Human Beings.
This is what the movy tells U. Few may agree and few may not but I certainly loved the concept and I am already a die hard fan of 'Luv'...I mean Luv Ranjan and his team ;)
The 2nd surprise package was "Thanks Maa" released in 2008 which was not a pre-decided one but it certainly didn't disappoint me. Irfan Kamal's directorial debut creates a real 'Kamaal' on screen.
We may find shades of Slumdog Millionaire, Traffic Signal, Chillar Party in this movie but this movie has multiple messages for its audience.
All the 5 kids in the movie are amazing and that's why it bagged the "Best Child Artist" National Award in 2008.
The current crop of realistic cinema is really very refreshing than the glamsham dolls and fake xxx Crore targeted movies.
Plzzzzzzzzz.....don't miss these 2 movies if sm1 has still not seen them :)
