Shane Watson......Why the hell did U make that 61 ball century?????

It gave 'Khunnas' to the most eligible Centurymaker of T20 history Mr. Christopher Gayle who came up with an unbelievable blistering knock of 175 in just 66 balls.

When 'Gaylism' is in progress, there is no room for the word 'Mercy'.

I pity those balls which flew away 119m, 114m, 112m 109m, 104m from Gayle's hammer...few ones never to be seen again on Cricketing field !!!

I watched very few IPL matches this season and boy, what an inning that was by Chris Gayle....17 Sixes and 13 fours with a strike-rate of 265....

Records tumbling.....
*Highest score by an individual in all T20 games of all formats.
* Highest ever score of 263/5 in a T20 match of all formats.
* Most number of 6s (17*6s) to be hit in an innings by a batsman.
* Most number of sixes hit by a side in an innings = 21 6s (Gayle = 17, ABD = 3, Virat = 1).
* Highest opening stand in IPL of 167 between Gayle and Dilshan.
* Gayle crossing 150 sixes in T20 and takes his overall tally of sixes to 163. The next person followed by him is Suresh Raina who has hit 99 sixes :)
* Gayle grabbing that Orange Cap from Virat and yet again becomes the leading run scorer in the current IPL. He has maintained a 100+ gap of runs from Virat and surely be the final winner of Orange Cap.

Memorable moments:
1) Gayle scores his 50 in 17 balls and reaches his next 50 in just 13 balls.
2) 2 Banners from the audiences:
a) Welcome to "Ben-Gayle-uru".
b) When Gayle bats, then Fielders = Spectators and Spectators = Fielders.
Gavaskar rightly said while commenting that there shud be some kind of award for such innovative banners amongst the audience.
3) Virat and entire RCB team taking a bow for the hard hitting performance of Gayle.
4) Entire Pune Warriors team congratulating Gayle (for pushing them to the bottom of the table) for his magical knock....especially Yuvi grabbing his bat jokingly after the 1st innings....we need to seriously examine that bat as a mis-hit was also fetching him atleast a 4 if not a 6 :D

Spectators need to be insured henceforth or shud be given compulsory helmets to wear which are more powerful than Gayle's hard hitting shots ;)

The 1st innings itself was so mesmerizing that I didn't even feel the need to see the desparing performance of Pune Warriors in the 2nd innings of the match.

Virender Seh-'Waagh', 'Wat-son', will all look like Sons when their Papa Gayle is on fire....
